Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and DOT compliance standards
- Assist in freight handling when required to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills and experience with ELD systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
- No preventable accidents in the past 3 years
