Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo securement.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and mileage logs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to read maps or use GPS systems.
