Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of US Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
