Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) on regional routes within 250-mile radius
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely pickups/delivers across Nashville metro area
- Ensure proper cargo securing and temperature control for specialized freight
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and occasional weekends
- Tennessee residency preferred
