Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring securement and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (DVIR, ELD, Bills of Lading) in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues and provide updates.
- Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
