Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes in and around the Charlotte area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight with care, ensuring cargo is secure and undamaged.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if needed.
