Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, and receivers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Uphold a professional image and demonstrate safe driving habits at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate interstate.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operations, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
