Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over designated routes in and around Louisville, KY.
- Load and unload freight with care, ensuring cargo security.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or Class B with Tanker endorsement).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
- Strong knowledge of Louisville area routes is a plus.
