Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver goods to designated locations across New York and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route plans.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
- Ensure the cargo is loaded and secured properly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and vehicle maintenance.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Valid Medical Certificate (DOT).
