Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on interstate and local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
