Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (PDI).
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in all weather conditions.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo securely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers throughout the route.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Current DOT medical card (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
