Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Navigate efficiently through Columbus metro routes
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in overnight shifts
