Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on regional and long-haul routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo with accuracy and care to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (ELD compliance) at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delivery updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
