Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes (avg. 4-5 days out, 2-3 days home)
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route efficiency
- Uphold strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Experience with flatbed, refrigerated, or dry van trailers preferred
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
