Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight from DC to California and backhauls to the East Coast
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Operate refrigerated and dry van trailers with advanced GPS tracking
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route conditions and ETA updates
- Secure cargo and maintain proper weight distribution per FMCSA standards
- Participate in monthly safety training and compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and ELD compliance
- Experience with multi-stop deliveries and tight urban routing
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must be US citizen or authorized to work permanently
