Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/vans) on overnight routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and recipients
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries within tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM (flexible shifts)
- Knowledge of Sacramento area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
