Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) to deliver freight to designated locations within Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Maintain strict adherence to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Manage cargo loading, unloading, and securement to prevent damage.
- Update electronic logging devices (ELD) and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Uphold a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles traffic patterns and routes.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
