Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local and regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain precise documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Represent Premier Logistics with professional conduct at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:00 AM)
