Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays
- Complete accurate paperwork including bills of lading and trip records
- Represent the company professionally with customers and at loading facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years
