Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on regional routes within Nevada and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securement techniques following DOT regulations
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while ensuring on-time performance
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS tracking systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all federal/state transportation laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat regulations (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Nevada highway systems and regional geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
