Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes (WA, OR, ID)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Represent company values through professional customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Familiarity with Pacific Northwest terrain and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
