Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage route optimization and delivery schedules
- Represent our company professionally in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of North Carolina roadways and regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for overnight and weekend routes
- Twic card preferred
