Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and strict safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Secure cargo and handle documentation requirements
- Represent our company professionally at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NC traffic laws and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to overnight travel (2-3 nights weekly)
