Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight across the United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Secure cargo using straps, chains, and bars to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and stay within Hours of Service (HOS) limits.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and insurability.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
