Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight on schedule and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Manage all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logbooks.
- Load and unload cargo using proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and driving record at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if not currently held (we assist with training).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Valid driver's license required.
