Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional night deliveries
- Maintain strict adherence to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology and real-time traffic data
- Complete accurate documentation including logs, manifests, and delivery confirmations
- Provide exceptional customer service during on-site delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Knowledge of San Francisco Bay Area geography and delivery zones
- Strong problem-solving skills for navigating urban night environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
