Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods within the Los Angeles metropolitan area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet tight delivery deadlines in high-traffic urban environments
- Represent Premier Transport Solutions professionally with clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and LA area geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in various weather conditions
