Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight throughout Bay Area routes
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Effective communication with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Electronic logging system (ELD) compliance
- Customer service excellence during delivery interactions
- Route optimization for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and mountain routes
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent safety record and documentation skills
