Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local distribution routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain inventory records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with LA metro area and surrounding counties
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
