Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (no-touch freight available)
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and delays
- Represent company brand through professional conduct and customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and regional logistics hubs
- Basic proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for securement tasks
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
