Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) safely and efficiently
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and HOS guidelines
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Manage delivery schedules and optimize route efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Represent the company professionally at all customer interaction points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (immediate availability required)
- Knowledge of San Antonio metro area and Texas highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend routes as needed
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of GPS navigation and logistics software
