Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Safely transport freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment use
- Ensure timely delivery of temperature-sensitive and general freight
- Report maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Bay Area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement protocols
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional overtime
