Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain DOT compliance logs and regulatory paperwork
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklift training
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery across Southern CA
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with CA roadways and port operations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
