Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in strict compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and managing freight.
- Uphold a clean driving record and professional image at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (Required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (Preferred).
- Clean driving record with no more than 1 serious traffic violation in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen Certification (Clear Results).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record check.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
