Responsibilities
- Safely operate refrigerated tractor-trailers for regional routes within the Midwest
- Adhere to strict temperature-controlled cargo protocols and HACCP standards
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and complete electronic logs
- Maintain precise delivery schedules with 99.8% on-time performance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Document all cargo handling and delivery exceptions
- Participate in quarterly safety certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Reefer certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Clean MVR with no DUI/DWI in past 5 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate manual/electric pallet jacks
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in ELD systems and route navigation apps
- Flexibility for overnight trips with 2-3 day home time
- Experience with temperature-sensitive cargo preferred
