Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Operate in all weather conditions while maintaining on-time performance
- Participate in continuous safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Jacksonville metro area and Florida highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:00 AM)
- Smartphone proficiency for electronic logging
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years
