Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical safety and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for timely deliveries and route optimization
- Demonstrate defensive driving techniques in all weather and traffic conditions
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Must be at least 21 years old with US work authorization
