Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery schedules
- Document all shipment discrepancies and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of Chicago metro area routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong communication and time management skills
