Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for long-haul routes across Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and problem resolution
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and substance screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Must pass comprehensive background check and driving history review
