Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across Texas and Southwest routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance standards
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and regional logistics
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight stays and variable schedules
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, ELD systems)
- Must be at least 21 years old
