Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Efficient route planning and delivery schedule management
- Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Accurate documentation and electronic logging
- Represent Motor City Freight with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Detroit metro area routes
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Strong communication and time management skills
