Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) over-the-road and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and load management
- Represent Mountain State Transport professionally with clients
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all FMCSA standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Knowledge of Colorado road networks and mountain driving
