Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks for regional routes across Texas
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logs (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure freight security and temperature control for specialized loads
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- 1+ year of commercial trucking experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings
