Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely delivery and fuel efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (California)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of San Diego metro area
