Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and flatbed) across Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery timelines
- Inspect and maintain vehicle pre/post-trip documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding shipment status
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Texas highway regulations and route planning
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for overnight stays and irregular hours
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
