Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) within DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient routes across Texas while meeting delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Document all delivery activities and handle paperwork accurately
- Adapt to changing schedules and weather conditions while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Texas traffic laws
- Strong navigation skills with GPS/telematics experience
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 21+ years old
