Job Overview
As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to local customers efficiently and safely. You are the face of our company, and your professionalism ensures customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on assigned delivery routes within the Omaha metropolitan area.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, ensuring cargo is protected during transport.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues in the DVIR.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and handling delivery inquiries professionally.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for change and inventory management.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
