Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight between distribution centers, warehouses, and customer locations across Texas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs per DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance teams promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and delivery zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in night shift conditions
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Willingness to pass background check
