Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional routes across TN, AR, MS, and AL
- Perform meticulous pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading at distribution centers
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain accurate mileage records
- Participate in quarterly safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat placarding (HME certification preferred)
- Proficient in using ELD systems and route planning apps
- Physical ability to handle 50lb+ cargo during loading/unloading
