Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Deliver freight to Philadelphia metro and regional destinations
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment handling
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with FMCSA standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia area navigation and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
